My name is Ashalé Amos and I am the founder of Ashalé the Brand. Originated in Virginia where my purpose in life became my passion. Ashalé was created through trial and error. Deep rooted from within myself as a reflection of my growth. I believe that I am part of a divine plan. I didn't plan to be a fashion designer it came to me as a calling, my life experiences led me to this manifestation. Being a petite female, I learned at a young age to have tough skin and embrace who I am as a whole giving the world hints of my artistic talents. Maturing in life I continue to appreciate myself completely. I speak in volumes through my Fashion designs. My handcrafted garments are all created, cut, and sewn by myself. Completely self taught I bring the risk factor, and the raw quality of an impressive piece of artwork. Creating unique designs, I practice sustainable fashion techniques. With fashion having a remarkable impact on communities around the world, Ashalé the brand is striving to meet fashion needs as well as our future needs. Utilizing zero waist cutting methods, and always thinking of new innovative ideas to discard of materials to illuminate waste. What you focus on grows. I want to prove that dreams do

Kids In-Person Sewing Class (Ages 6-13)
Creative, hands-on sewing instruction for young sewists.
Service Description
A fun, hands-on sewing experience designed to introduce young sewists to machine confidence, sewing fundamentals, and creative projects. Instruction is kept small and personalized so students can learn at a comfortable pace. Choose your experience level when booking: Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced. Sewing machines and materials are provided! If you have your own machine you’d like to learn on, you’re welcome to bring it with you. In-person classes are typically held in (Northwest) Washington, DC. However, if you have access to a suitable sewing studio, workspace, school, or other approved location within the DMV area, alternate arrangements may be available. Exact location details will be confirmed after booking.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations & Rescheduling: Virtual and in-person sewing classes may be canceled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours may not be eligible for a refund or credit. Virtual Classes: Students must have access to a working sewing machine and the required materials for their session. Class access details will be provided after booking. In-Person Classes: Sewing machines are provided. Students are welcome to bring their own machine if they prefer. Location details and any additional materials or preparation requirements will be provided after booking. Kids Classes: Kids classes are designed for students ages 6–13. For virtual sessions, a parent or guardian should be available to assist younger students as needed. Workshops: Workshop locations, projects, pricing, materials, and cancellation terms may vary depending on the event or collaborating partner. Event-specific details will be provided before registration or with the booking confirmation. Unless otherwise noted, sewing machines, tools, and project materials are provided. By booking a sewing class or workshop, you acknowledge and agree to the policies and requirements applicable to your selected service.
